All around us are spaces. We have a space for our keys, our phones, our bags, our clothes, our pets, even our most treasured memories are safely hidden in a box on that shelf in the hallway closet. All within us are spaces, too. The spaces within tend to be filled awkwardly and instinctively: the day’s to-do list, parental responsibilities, keeping up with our friends, the latest book, project, or worry.

The God of all space in time enables us not only to create spaces, but also to fill them. At ReGathering 2017, we will joyfully enter the inner space where human and Divine relax in common friendship. The acceptance and love that resides there will influence who we are and how every space we enter will be filled.

Riverbend Retreat Center provides trails for hiking with friends or in solitude, paddle-boats for lake exploration, fire pits, and cabins for resting. In true Life in Deep Ellum fashion, we will create space for song, story, and interactive art participation to color our time together with the depths of joy and kinship.
