Crowbars

A true urban expression of art, come check out Leighton Autrey's exhibit: Crowbars.

Gallery Reception: Saturday, January 21 from 6-10pm.

Excerpt from Leighton's website:

My work is about chance, risk and not being afraid to push the limits of all types of artistic mediums. From oils, acrylics, inks, aerosol and emamel, I entangle mediums in a non methodical way with influences in graffiti and street art. The work is represntational from a distance but when confronted face to face, it is just splats, spills and smears that the viewer's brain manipulates into certain images. The purpose of the work is to look at images in a whole different way and to experience them the way I experienced them while in the creative process.
