Mokah Art Gallery, an extension of Life in Deep Ellum, serves to promote culture and art in Deep Ellum and surrounding communities. At the Cultural Center, Mokah Art Gallery exhibitions feature contemporary art of local artists from the experimental, the emerging, and the established.

At Mokah Coffee Bar we are passionate about two things: good coffee and people sharing what they love through music, art, and conversation. Every Tuesday night we have open mic night and Lounge Shows regularly occur on Thursday and Friday nights. Hours: 7 AM - 10 PM (Monday - Friday) and 9 AM - 10 PM (Saturday).

The faith community comes together every Sunday at The Gathering - a time of corporate worship and teaching. The service begins at 11 AM in the venue at the cultural center. Come early to get some great coffee and free breakfast. Parents can check their children in the Deep Ellum Kids area starting at 10:45.

Deep Ellum Kids serves to encourage and develop the kids of Life in Deep Ellum. Ultimately we know one of the greatest tools in a child’s life is relationships with adults who can model life for them and strive to ensure this is available for all kids.

During the week, the faith community meets in each others' homes. These Life Groups are designed to create a greater sense of community and growth. The goal is to connect in such a way that no one is ever without a group of friends with whom to celebrate, mourn, encourage, or just hang out.

Life in Deep Ellum is not only committed to the community of Deep Ellum, but also to having a global awareness and involving ourselves in what is happening outside of Dallas. We are currently involved with organization both state-side and overseas including Berkeley, India, Spain, Kenya, and the Himalayas.
